Pathene 500™

Pathene 500™ is a patented antimicrobial polymer that creates a microscopic shield on porous and non-porous surfaces to destroy bacteria on contact for up to 90 days after cleaning, even for surfaces that post treatment are immersed in water. Pathene 500™ forms a covalent bond with the substrate and creates a microbiostatic antimicrobial coating. The coating forms a nano-bed shield of spikes (self-assembling monolayer), each of which carry a positive charge that attracts the negatively charged bacteria. Once attracted, the molecular spikes pierce the cell and rupture its cell membrane, causing that bacterial microorganism to die.

The AvGuard Protection System

PREPARATION

Our initial assessment of your environment, commercial or residential spaces, equipment and disinfection requirements, staff and family members will lead us to make recommendations and develop protocols best suited for you. Our initial ATP bacteria tests form the basis of our evaluation and recommendations for managing your assets.

DISINFECT

Following our AvGuard® application protocol we will treat throughout the assets identified by stakeholders, including disassembly and re-assembly or components should that be necessary. Disinfection is performed with electrostatic sprayers to ensure disinfectant reaches all critical surfaces, minimizing waste and human error.

PROTECT

Next, using our application process, the surfaces are re-sprayed with Pathene 500™, applying a self-assembling monolayer which protects all surfaces from mold, mildew, bacteria, and viruses for 90 days.

VERIFICATION & AUTHORITIES

Final ATP testing is conducted with a luminometer on selected touch points.
